My wedding dress is champagne coloured with detailed beading.
What are good flowers to use for an August wedding with Chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses?
For the bridesmaid's bouquets, medium pink mini gerber daisies with brown centers would look nice.
For your bouquet, bleach out the colors to pale pink and ivory or champagne. There is a beautiful champange rose called Sahara that you should take a look at. http://www.obiesfloral.com/flowers/sahar...

Reply:I'd say light pink, or red orange and yellow.... any color gerbera daisy would look good with it.
Reply:pale pink is a good color. Those are my colors (pink, chocolate and pale gold) I'm thinking of calla lillies or just roses. But another option is sage green or pale blue hydrangeas.
Reply:I love brown and a rich jewel toned blue together. I would suggest a boquet of dark blue and possibly dark lavender hydrangeas even mint green ones mixed in would look good too.
Reply:Pale pink flowers, maybe roses or lily would go perfectly with the brown dresses. Or if you don't like pink, any pale color will work. You don't want to use dark flowers with brown dresses.
Reply:August weddings are nice. Sunflowers would be pretty, yellow with their chocolate brown centers. Soft pink, or a mixed bouquet. Perhaps lavendar, greens, whites and pinks or yellows together would be lovely.
Reply:My cousin just got married last August, and her bridesmaids wore chocolate brown. She used Sunflowers as here flowers. They were beautiful. She played up the fall colors with deep yellows and browns to match the dresses and flowers. The flower girls through out tiny sunflowers. It was absolutly wonderful.
Reply:Spring flowers such as tulips are going to be difficult to find in August. Lillies or cornflowers would look really nice. I would use a lighter color for accent but not a stark white. Try more ivory or off white colors instead. Orange would be very seasonal and go with browns and champagne's nicely, maybe mix in some yellows (not bright) and touches of red.
Reply:Go for an autumn hue. Try bright orange and yellows. I like the earlier suggestion of sunflowers. Pink doesn't really go with chocolate brown. My sister used artificial flowers as bouquets and they were a brownish cream hue with twisy twigs and satin ribbon around the handles. She too had chocolate brown bridesmaids dresses and these went lovely with them.
Reply:pink tulips or pink roses with the stems covered in chocolate brown ribbon to match the dresses .... you can also add pink jeweled letters of each bridesmaid to monogram each bouquet,
Reply:i love those colors especially champagne but u can use the color for flowers ether red roses or lilies maybe

Reply:orange or burgundy calle(not sure how to spell that) lillies
Reply:what about pink tulips that would be pretty
Reply:I would say a white flower. Since you have a dark dress, you dont want to do a dark flower. Even a Rose would be to dark. I say a white flower would be the best to give some contrast to the dress color
Reply:I would say go with either pale pink and/or a cream color and then ask your florist for flower type suggestions:)
