Most important item in wedding budget? Ex: photos, flowers, etc.?
Reception, it's gonna be about 50% of your budget anyway so may as well make sure it is good! Nice food and drink, good decorations and setting.
Reply:Aside from the ceremony!!!!
Hosting your guests to a wonderful dinner, great music, and a full open bar!
Reply:IMO, its the location and food. You dont need to add much if the location is already beautiful. And people always notice the food %26amp; drink- its what keeps the party moving!
After that, music and photography.
Reply:1.photos and video - it's the only thing you have to remember your special day.
2.3.food and dress
people will remember the food and of course you want to be the most beautiful bride ever so splurge and get the dress you LOVE!
4. DJ - he can make or break the party
Reply:Photos.
Reply:-Food
-Drinks
-Photography
In that order. I completly agree with melofus, my priority is to show my guests a good time; that's my priority. I will only give the best for the best.
Good luck
Reply:For me, its the entertainment--food and drinks! I want my guests to have a really great time!
I have to say, I think the photos are also super important, but my fiance is a photographer, so we won't have that as an expense--one of his photographers will be doing the work.
Reply:Me and my sweetie decided there were two important things for us. First Photo and Video. They will be the one thing you have for the rest of you life to remember your wedding day.
Second was the place. We wanted to get married on the beach at a hotel that took care of almost everything for us. That is the two things we spent the most on.
Best wishes in planning your special day.
Reply:As for me I say 1. would be photography %26amp; videography to make sure my once in a life time wedding day be save to see it again. 2. DJ to keep the guests enjoying the dance floor. 3. food to keep the guest talking how great the food was. 4. how you look in your wedding dress for the guests to say wow! she looks pretty.
Reply:Personally I would say the photos and/or video of the wedding. In 25 years you'll have forgotten most of the ceremony and these will help you recapture the feelings of that day.
After that, it depends a lot on you. For my wife, who has long hair that she's quite proud of, it was her hair. You need to ask yourself how you'd feel if one aspect of the wedding got royally screwed up. If they dropped the cake, how would that make you feel? Okay, now, if the band didn't show up, how about that? If your dress was the wrong size? Whichever gives you the worst reaction, that's the one to aim for first.
Reply:Photos and video. I enjoy looking back at the professional photos. I had family make videos of the wedding. Those were good since people were at ease being on camera with family.
Some of the best photos were ones from my guests! So be sure to ask for copies of pictures or put out disposible cameras on the tables.
Reply:For me, it is the photos. I really want to have nice pictures to look back and remember my wedding day. Second on my list was the wedding dress.
Reply:Dont spend to much on your invitation as you can go to an online discounter or DIY.

Reply:Definitely the photos! The flowers will die... %26amp; you always want those pictures to show off! Also... you're not going to remember all the lil details that can be caught in those pictures... it's so nice to have them to look back on...
Reply:photos, food, and entertainment i think are my top three.
Reply:Our biggest expense was the DJ, then the photographer, then food. I don't regret spending the most on the DJ because he completely made the reception a huge hit. Practically everyone danced all night. Photographer was great too but I also have a ton of pictures from relatives. Food was still delicious even though we didn't pay an arm and leg for it.
