Wedding related-flowers in season??

I'm getting married this October and am curious to know what flowers are in season around that time? which ones are on the more expensive side and which ones are on the lower end side? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

These are in season in the fall:

Aster - White, Pink

Chrysanthemum - White, Yellow, Orange, Pink, other colors

Dahlia - Many Colors

Marigold - Yellow, Orange, Red

Statice - Purple

Zinnia - Red, orange, pink



And these are available year round:

Baby's Breath - White

Bachelor's Button - White, Pink, Red or Blue

Calla Lily - White, other colors

Carnations - Many Colors

Delphinium - Blue, White, Purple

Eucalyptus - Blue, Silver

Gardenia - White

Gladiolus - Many Colors

Heather - Pink

Lily of the Valley - White and Pink

Orchid - Pink, White, Purple, Other Colors

Protea - Pink

Rose - Many Colors

Scabiosa - Purple, White



As far as getting them for less money, you can always buy them at wholesale from stores like costco or fiftyflowers.com. If you want to go through a florist they can tell you what prices they can get on the different types of flowers. Generally roses and orchids are the most expensive. Orchids so many colors to choose from. Hydrangeas. hey come in all different colors blues white and pinks.

Another option would be decorating with pumpkins. I also like the idea of acorns for the groomsmens boots.
