Help!? The flowers smell like smoke and I don't know what to do?

I just recieved my wedding flowers (which are fake) from ebay which I thought would be okay especially when they are "supposed" to be from a smokeless home. They smell like smoke and some of the flowers were hand dyed. Im not sure if I can febreeze them without ruining them.. Any ideas that I can try would be great.

Thanks in advance

If you don't have time to send them back to e-bay, floral supply stores and craft stores, sell a floral cleaner spray, it might make the flowers look a little shiny, but if you tested it on one flower at least you won't mess up all of them. Same thing goes with Febreeze. I work for a major craft store, and I know that new flowers could be expensive, but one of our competitors "The Rag Shop," is going out of business so if you have one near you, you might be able to get some really good deals.

Have a great wedding....and good luck!

Also airing them out outside, always worked for coats when I use to go to smokey restaurants and bars!
Reply:e-mail them w/ a complaint! also, ask them if they can be de-smoked somehow or demand they replace them-or pay to replace them. E-bay is the basis of most small-claims court cases now a days. good luck and keep all documentation just in case you need it!
Reply:use baking soda. buy a lot of it, and put the flowers into some sort of container you can put a lid on, then sprinkle a ton of baking soda inside and shake. let sit for a couple of days, then take the flowers out and shake them to remove the powder. you can even save the baking soda to clean with or de-stink your sink drains
Reply:You can Fevreeze them and they will smell good. If they still smell like smoke after you febreeze them, send them back to EBAY and ask for new ones. Also tell them why. Hope I helped =)
