The Omni Royal Orleans hotel has interior courtyards that work really well for a wedding + reception the size of the one you are planning. The courtyards also have adjacent banquet rooms (French doors to the courtyard) in case of rain.
The hotel can also provide parking, a location for the rehearsal dinner, and accommodations for out-of town guests.

Note that August/early September is low season in New Orleans and you should be able to get a good deal from the hotel.
