anyone have any suggestions? besides roses... what kinds of flowers that would make a nice bouquet are there?
Nice flowers suitable for wedding bouquet?
my personal favs are any orchids, Lillies, Gardenias, Tulips
(I know you said no roses, but I adore Tea Roses) and gotta
love Baby's Breathe as accent. I'd do a mix of them all, make sure they go with your original theme, matching is easier than it looks, lol.
Reply:Frangipanis. But they are the only flower you can't buy commercially. You just need to know someone with a tree. Pick them the day before, take them to your florist and they will arrange them into a bouquet for you. Don't touch the petals as they will bruise. There are white, pink, orange and some others I can't think of. They really are beautiful.
Reply:Stargazer lilies!
Reply:Orchids, Stephanotis, and White Lillies

Reply:http://bliss-weddings.blogspot.com/2006/... This link will help you understand the meaning of flowers and would give a broad idea as to go about making the bouquet of your choice. Its always better to choose the flowers in tandem with the theme and color of the wedding. The rest is all there in the link.
Reply:well you can always do mixtures of stuff, and it will depend on the time of year, but calla lillies or gerbera daisies make really pretty ones, and you can get them all the time. hydrangeas or tulips for spring, lillies look pretty and can be gotten any time, but my favorite is seriously to just mix everything in together and make it pretty and colorful!
Reply:A group of white lilies with long stems. Wrap the stems with a ribbon the same color as your brides maids. Have a smaller one the throw.
Reply:Tulips are great. I had 2 dozens of fuschia-colored tulips on my wedding day.
Reply:Hydrangeas, stephanotis, lillies, cala lillies
Reply:I love cala lily the best
