Flowers are one of the easier parts, I orderd mine only a few weeks before, but you might want to try a few months if you live in a busy area. Ordering too far in advance you run the risk of the place going out of business or changing owners in which case it's very hard if not impossible to get your deposit back.

as soon as you can possibly do it. this give the florists time to make arrangments and to find all the flowers you need. plus if plans change you can always cancel. you might lose your deposit though.
Reply:6 Months before the date speak with your florist. 1 week if you are doing it yourself. Like all planning you cannot wait last minute to think about flowers. Flowers to me are the 3rd most important in a wedding because they will be in the pictures.
