What colour of flowers for a wedding this october?
EVERYONE is saying fall colors, orange, red, browns..ets. My wedding is october 3rd and we are doing all black and white.. all of our flowers will be white. There is NEVER a set color. you can do anything you want.. as long as where your getting married and the reception venue is decorated to fit YOUR colors. It will look beautiful. But if you want to stay witht he fall theme go to a florist they will give you a list of the types of flowers that are IN season and colors that are IN season. It can get rather expensive if your chosing beautiful fall colored flowers tht are out of season. There are a not many flowers in bloom in october..
Reply:Yellow

Yellow was all over the spring 2008 runways, which is great news for brides. This ideal wedding color is fresh, energetic, and summery. For a day-time wedding, consider yellow and

white for your wedding colors, with yellow daisies, gingham accents, and cheery yellow ribbons tied around vases, napkins, bouquets, and waists. For an evening wedding, pair lemon yellow with chocolate brown. Or, choose a brighter yellow paired with silvery gray.

Silver

The bride who wears a metallic silver wedding dress is sure to stand out and be remembered. If you're more traditional, incorporate the silver wedding trend in other ways. Your bridesmaids could wear grey satin bridesmaids dresses, or carry bouquets of white roses mixed with eucalyptus, Artemisia Silver King and/or Dusty Miller. Decorate your reception space with silver linens, branches painted silver, and rhinestone accents. Or punch up your own look with silver heels peeking out from under your dress, and a rhinestone hairpin.

Other Bold Colors

Jewel tones are back in style! If you love rich purples, bright greens, and shocking pinks, you'll be excited by 2008 wedding trends. But stay far away from the '80s. Today's couples should look to use jewel tones sparingly, mixing brights with cream or gray, or more muted versions of the same color. Avoid the satin jewel tone bridesmaid dress – it's definitely one look she won't wear again. Instead, look for chiffon or other matte fabrics to carry off this look.

Wedding Colors 2008:

1. Burnt Orange

2. Pinks: Different Shades

3. Purples: Different Shades

4. Oranges: Different Shades

5. Combination of Oranges/Pinks

6. Combination of Pinks/Purple

Enjoy your wedding planning
Reply:Anything you want.

If you want to follow the "fall" theme ... oranges, rust red, brown fiddlehead ferns, deep foresty greens, yellow.

You could also do all whites, or pastels, or deep reds/purples, bright tropical colors ... anything you want. You're not limited by season when it comes to colors, although the season MIGHT limit your choice of flowers because you're bound by what's in bloom at the time.

What color are the bridesmaids' dresses? Do you have an overall color scheme, or are you open to multiple colors? Bring some inspiration photos (your gown, the venues, color swatches you like, jewelry, decor, etc.) to your florist, and let him/her suggest some things to you. That's their job.

Reply:Yes fall colors. But if want a nice contrast to the norm colors of the fall then go for something bright. Purple is a complimentary color to yellow and it will look nice with the oranges of that time too.
Reply:I'm getting married in October, too! Here's mine;
