What would be the perfect flowers of red and white for a wedding bouquet?

Red roses %26amp; white tulips.......White roses %26amp; red carnations......

White Calla Lilies %26amp; tiny red roses with babys breath.

What would be the perfect flowers of red and white for a wedding bouquet?
You can't go wrong with roses for your bouquet ane for the wedding party. Mom's should have white, pink or red, groomsmen and groom white.
Reply:Roses and carnations are common for weddings. Calla lilies are common for funerals.I love wild flowers and think they would be pleasantly unique. Good white ones would be daisies, queen Ann's lace, mixed with a traditional red type.
Reply:All roses red and white....
Reply:definately add roses in your bouquet. i also like babys breath.
Reply:carnations or roses would be perfect!!
Reply:red rose and white rose, red gladiolus and white gladiolus, red carnations and white carnations, red orchids and white orchids are used a wedding bouquet.
Reply:Roses are perfect for a wedding but not sure about putting white baby's breath with them because it could be too much of a contrast. How about binding the stems with a red ribbon and adding white pearls to the stems as a trim. or a mix of red an white roses.

If you have a swatch of your colours pop along to a florist for advice on which varieties go - gerbera come in a lot of red shades and can be lovely see design on the link. What about a red gerbera bouquet for the bride and white gerbera for the bridesmaids?

Have a look at the site below for some red and white combinations.
Reply:Carnations are nice with a babies breath and some people will mistake them for Roses so you can get a two for one effect. I have flowers everywhere in my yard so to me, any nice done arrangement will look good.
Reply:roses
Reply:Red carnations and baby's breath. Red roses with small red roses and baby's breath.
Reply:tulips and daisys

maybe 1 rose of each

and a couple mini carnations
Reply:I would say peonies or carnations with baby breath, though a light pink would add a soft, femine touch.
Reply:I chose Calla Lillie's and this other deep red flower, both artificial from Michael's Craft store... That way I can keep them beautiful forever... Fall is a good time to go browse the craft stores for good fall colors... even if you want live flowers, at least you can get ideas of what looks good together and what might not...
Reply:Red and white flowers are referred to as blood and bandages.

If you must use red and white...try red roses (love) and alot of white baby's breathe.
Reply:its more helpful to know what time of year you will be having your ceremony. tulips have been suggested in some of the answers, but i promise you... if you want tulips in october, you will be paying twice the price for them than had you wanted them in march.

i'm a floral designer and roses, while gorgeous, are cliche. its a safe choice and i have to recommend 'black magic' roses (its a color name). they are exquisite roses.

roses, stephanotis, calla lilies, casablanca lilies, tulips, amarylis, etc.

i strongly suggest viewing bridal portraits from photography sites. its the best way to view accurate bridal flowers without being innundated with 'filler' bouquets.
