How do you wire and tape silk flowers to put in a boquet?

i am familiar with wiring and taping fresh flowers for wedding boquets but not sure its the same with silk flowers

How do you wire and tape silk flowers to put in a boquet?
Since silk flowers already have wired stems, I guess you need to wire them to gain height or because the wires have come off. You have to buy thick florist wire and green florist tape. For added height, hold the wire tightly alongside the wire/stem of the flower, making sure there is enough of the new wire jutting out at the bottom. Holding the wires together, twirl the tape around both wires. As you twirl the tape, make sure to evenly cover the wires so they aren't visible. Cut tape and press it down to secure it.If your silk flower has no wired stem, insert florist wire under the flower at the center. Bend it back into the flower in a hook to secure it. Then apply the tape as above.
Reply:Silk flowers are usually already wired, so you would mostly be arranging and taping them together. I've made a few little bouquets this way--not bridal bouquets, but the same concept.
