Daisies, Lily of the Valley, carnations, are some that I can come up with. I hope this helps you a bit. Congratulations and enjoy your day!
I want simple flowers @ my wedding and have no idea what kind to use. any ideas?
Calla lilies
Reply:stick with just one type of flowers, say roses, or lillies, or go with a non-traditional type of bouquet, say a pomander of roses for example.
Reply:daisies with angel breathe,pansies
Reply:Visit your local florist and have them show you the kind of flowers they usually use in bouquets. This can give you an idea as to what you find appealing and what you want to stray from. Also go in with a price in mind (if you don't want to spend over $500 on flowers tell them they can work with your budget if they are a reputable florist)
They are the designers and know how to make things look beautiful without having it cost a bundle and can show you what flowers will look best together and what will give you problems.
Reply:When is your wedding? Pick flowers that are in season this will keep the cost down. Daisies, carnations, and roses are always in season. Daisies and carnations are the least expensive. Pick your colors and coordinate your flowers. There are so many beautiful flowers out there speak with a florist and ask to look through his books for ideas. Generally there is no charge for this.
Reply:I agree with some of the others calla lillies are simple and beautiful, you might also look at asian lillies. They are just a bit bigger that regular lillies, but oh so gorgeous!!!!
Best of Luck!!!
Reply:I was going to have roses - both white and red, but then rethought the whole thing, and now I've opted for Gerbera Daisies. If you google/images them, it'll pull up some nice samples of them.
Reply:Calla Lillies. They are simple and beautiful.
