I would like my flowers and the flowers for the bridesmaids to stand out and look beautiful. I just don't know what colors would look good and go with green. It would be almost like a sage or similar kind of green color. I kind of think that just white would be best but I would rather have colorful flowers.
For my wedding I would like green as my color, but what color flowers would look good with green dresses?
very light pastels... e.g baby pink... and lilac colours
Reply:The big pink lily with whites in them. Stargazers I think they are called.
Reply:maybe try some golden yellow and beiges, some burnt oranges or peach even would be nice
Reply:I'd say light green and white.
Reply:Every color flower looks good with green. Think about it all flowers have green stems and leaves. Nature it perfect.
Good Luck
Reply:Most stems %26amp; leaves are green. You can have any color you want.
Reply:white
Reply:yellow flowers would be nice..like a daisy
Reply:calla lilies, the white ones
Reply:you could include some green colored flowers in the bouquets to tie them together (such as hydrangeas or the green roses-they are called jade) and then do a variety of other colors such as pinks, purples and yellows, maybe with a touch of white to tie your dress all with it, I like the idea of having more color, and I have seen weddings who went in about this scheme and it worked out beautifully!
Reply:Would depend on the green you've choosen for your dress. there are blue greens and yellow greens, bright greens and pastel greens and then dark greens.
I'd stay go with white flowers which would look fresh and pretty with any shade of green. If it's a light pastel opt for a bouquet that frames the flowers with leaves to add contrast and bring them out
:-) All the best and congratulations for the wedding
Reply:I'm having a peridot-themed wedding, and I will be carrying white calla lilies. If you're looking for something a little more colorful, though, I would definitely go with pink roses. The light pink would go very well with the pale green.
Reply:i say white they would look beautiful and simple and sweet!!!!
Reply:Coral colored roses with white lillies and peach baby's breath or bright pink roses mixed w/light pink roses and white baby's breath or white orchids with coral/pink roses
Reply:Try tiger lilies. They are on the expensive side but just a few go a long way.
Reply:Try a baby pink or maybe a bright yellow.
Reply:Hi. I am doing a celedon green (close to sage) and champagne. Our flowers will be white, cream (almost champagne) and light pink roses with green hydrangea. They do stand out against the green bridesmaids dresses. (We are also doing a hint of gold, eg bells, and pink, my sash). Congratulations and best wishes. Great choice of colour :)
Reply:you can always find flowers that have a tint of green in them. or you can add more colors just add a green ribbion around the bottom that will dangle under the bouquet
Reply:I would various types of white flowers.
Reply:Cream colored or lots of different pinks. Red even if you pull it off right. Def not anything blue
Reply:Any color of flowers will look great with sage green. After all, flowers have green leaves, don't they?
Reply:well if you want to have fun flowers try daisies and tulips. you can get daisies in bright pink, yellows, and oranges.
why not have fun right?
if you want to be classical then go with white flowers...the choice is yours
best wishes
Reply:youd be surprised what your florist will come up with just check with them thats what you pay them for i would be more inclined to to use light colors and have a nice green foliage to compliment your dresses
Reply:My bridesmaids dresses are a celadon green (almost like sage). The flowers are going to be antique green and cream hydrangeas, cream cabbage roses, and just a touch of pale lilac snapdragons. Green goes fantastic w/ pale shades of lavender/lilac, and it the contrast really makes the colors pop.
Reply:white, yellow, pink, peach, lavender, burgandy, etc.
Reply:God says all flowers need green, that's why he put stems and leaves on them...Don't know if you noticed but they are GREEN!
Reply:Is it a summer wedding? And are the dresses dark or light?
If its a spring or summer wedding, I think that a mixture of purples/blues/white/pink would look great!
And you can totally check out www.theknot.com for ideas and pictures! I am addicted to that site!
Reply:You can do lavendar or hot pink...those are two good colors.
