Flowers for a star themed wedding?

I am having a star themed evening wedding in June, my colors are saphire and silver. I'm looking to do something unique and starry some thoughts I've had have been having little lights in the bouquet, ball (comet?) shaped bouquets with ribons. Flower girl will be star dust girl and sprinkle stars instead of flowers. Any ideas would be fantastic!

Tiger lilies and stephanotis are star shaped flowers and you could do blue and silver accents in the bouquet.

Reply:I think a star theme is a cute idea. However, I wouldn't over do it, it could look tacky. How about tiger lillies. They kindof star shaped. I would do pink ones with your colors, I think it would be very pretty. No lights...

You could also have your florist add "star" shaped crystals either in the saphire or silver colors. Twist the beads on the end of a light wire and stick into your bouquet. The lights will reflect the sparkle. Really nice touch.



I would also find saphire and silver confetti stars to sprinkle around the tables.
