Flowers to go woth my ivory and blue wedding dress.?
There aren't too many natural blue flowers...
I would do Blue Hydrangea and Ivory roses. Hydrangea are at their peak in September and shouldn't be too expensive.
if you don't like those, theknot.com has hundreds of flower ideas to go with any color you choose.
:] good luck and congrats!
Reply:My friend had an ivory dress and we had pale blue bridesmaids dresses. The theme was therefore ivory/blue. Depending on your dress- is it white or cream? If it is cream- go for cream roses and a blue flower bouquet. I think they were blue/mauve freesias she had. If you dress is white- them maybe you could add another colour. It all depends on your overall colour scheme. Another friend of mine had blue tones in her dress- but went for a very natural- pale pink/blue/yellow/mauve- wild flower bouquet(very romantic). Consult a few florists in your area and pick their brains. Do it now though. Congratulations.
Reply:Alysiums and baby breath
Reply:What about bluebells or African Blue Lilies?
Reply:I would only put a little bit of blue in your bouquet. If you can't find a blue flower you like you can always have a hand tied bouquet and have the ribbon be blue.
Here are some blue flowers.

It seems like most of the blue bouquets use iris's.
Reply:Without a doubt, Lilly's
Reply:There are lots of blue bouquets out there. However, I'd go with assorted spring coloured flowers -

Reply:I agree that lillies, baby's breath, and blue bonnets would be beautiful!!
Reply:Try this:

3 pages of bouquets with blue flowers!
Reply:I think lillies would be beautiful. You can also try white roses, baby's breath, chicory (a beautiful light blue flower), white tulips, white gerberas, or daisies,
Reply:forget-me-nots are a blue delicate flower i think would go perfect with the dress you're describing (perfect for the season as well). there are also blue hyrdrangea, blue chip campanula, balloon flowers,, delphinium and hyacinths (these will also add a wonderful smell ). you can also have flowers dyed blue.
Reply:how blue is blue?? you could try lilacs?? or like white calla lillies??
Reply:Use all of above ideas, and let florist know WAY AHEAD of time you want BLUE flowers - not dyed.
Suggestion: include your birth month flower; his; and flower of first one or bouquet he gave you, in the bridal bouquet.
Reply:i would do white lilies mixed with forget-me-nots, which are absolutely gorgeous. good luck and congratulations! hope everything turns out just the way you imagine! =)
