What are good flowers for a southern California wedding in between the months of December to March?
What are the best flowers for a southern Californian winter wedding?"?
Well...I'm a native of California and there are very few problems with flowers.....you can get almost anything whenever you want....but I love roses....if you have a Valentine wedding, then I would say red or pink roses....but my daughter had a wedding with the most beautiful lavender roses and "ocean" colors with them...navy, and seagreen, I think....and also in the bouquet were miniature lillies...
We found the bouquet on the internet, then took the picture to the florist where she copied it...that way we got what we wanted....
the florist will also tell you just what is in season...and what is not......
Reply:roses are great year round - cala lilies are great too. For outdoor wedding, www.pewcones.com - nice touch for a california wedding. I have been to a few weddings that have had flowers filled with these and they are just gorgeous!!
Reply:Tulips! They're growing like crazy soon as the sun comes out!
:)
They are also GORGEOUS.
Good luck and CONGRATULATIONS!
Reply:You can get any sort of flowers you wish because nowadays flowers are flown all over the place so Season does not dictate floral arrangements any longer.
I like orchids and lilies.
