Reply:I would say that it all depends on your wedding colors. There are a lot of sites that will show you different kinds of bouquets in different colors. Both of these sites have many usefull tools for a bride to be, check them out. If you are still having problems, let us know the colors of your wedding and/or any specific things you know that you like.

Reply:I would go for red roses...........a nice round bouquet.
The red would look gorgeous next to your white dress.

This site is great! You get not only the names and looks of flowers but you can 'move' them (like magnets?) on screen to form your bouquet so that you get the idea of what you like or don't. Don't be afraid to try many options and combinations. This site is really user friendly (I've used/suggested it many times) have fun!
Reply:I have a suggestion; look at a variety of flowers and see what you like. It's your wedding, your day, and I think you should pick out flowers that appeal to you. Usually you will want to look for a color you like and go either a little lighter or a little darker, but in the same shade. Then look for a "filler" flower like babies breath.
Another route you may want to consider is to look for "fresh flowers" that dry well. Either way; I am sure that you you find flowers you love they will be beautiful! Good luck and Congrats!
Reply:It all depends on what you like.
I did mine with cabbage roses from Home Interiors. For my daughter's wedding we went to Garden Ridge and picked out whatever she liked and a friend of mine did the bouquets, corsages and boutineers (sp?). They turned out beautifully.
A lot of brides go for all white in their bouquets, but I prefer to have the flowers match the bridesmaids dresses. But, as I said, it's all in what you like.
You can go with roses, daisies, mums, lilies of the valley, etc.
Reply:If you know you want silks then skip the names. I just went to the store and walked around looking for our colors. If I liked it it went into the cart. Then I took about half an hour bunching them and narrowing down my choices.
Some flowers that looked amazing as real ones (like calla lillies) weren't that impressive in the silk version so even if you did know a laundry list of types it could all change once you see them in person.
I still have no clue what half the flowers are silk versions of except the green hydrangea but it looks amazing.
Reply:?Is your dress white? off-white? is there a veil. ? silk roses are lovely . Baby's breath will provide a nice white contrast. since silk is so sturdy, you could incorporate fragile flowers, like peony or lilies and bluebonnets if you need something blue
