Bridesmaid dresses are hunter green. We are having chocolate and ivory accents.
My flowers will be: ivory roses, chartreuse zinnias, Naomi Calla Lily, and Kermit button mums.
Bridesmaids are carrying white dahlias and white tulips.
Flower girl has flower ball of kermit button mums.
Centerpieces have ivory roses, green hydrangeas, and chocolate artichokes. Vases also will have limes/cut limes in them.
Other colors that are nice are dark browns, oranges, etc...the color of fall, basically. You could probably do a nice dark navy blue, too.
If you had to plan a wedding for October, what colors would you suggest for flowers and bridesmaids dresses?
I'm getting married on October 11th and we are using black and white for colors with red accents and letting the pictures and the scenery speak for itself. Fall is such a beautiful time to get married and you can really do anything with the colors that you want since there is such a broad spectrum of colors naturally around that time (some trees are still emerald green while some are already brown and orange, the sky has unpredictable coloring etc.)
Reply:My weddingis October 18th and we are using a burnt orange ("sienna") color for the bridesmaid dresses %26amp; they are gorgeous. For flowers you can do any of the fall colors: red, rust, fiery orange, burnt orange, sunflower yellow, brown, plum, cranberry, etc. I personally don't like red very much, so we will use mostly shades of orange and yellow. It's all up to you!
Reply:Truly the decision is up to you but if you are wanting to go with the seasons themes (winter spring summer fall ). I would go with the beautiful colors such as a burnt orange, reds, greens, dark purples, yellows and greens. for example.

lillies are a beautiful flower and come in many of theses colors.
take a gander!
god bless!
Reply:Since I am getting married in October I will tell you what we are doing. Our colors are black, white %26amp; cranberry-red.
My dress is white with cranberry embroidery and I will have a deep red bouqet (roses, cala lillies, maybe some carnations - stuff like that).
My bridesmaids will be in cranberry dresses with white bouquets (same flowers as mine, just in white).
Reply:Any falls colors.... reds, oranges, yellow and browns are always really classic and pretty. You could do something outside the season but still classy and do black and white with another color to pop like red or burgundy. Its not about the season, its about what color you two really like, what you think will look nice and what color the bridal party will look good in!
Reply:Since October is the changing of the leaves season, I would choose lovely pastel colors in light orange, yellow and even brown.
For flowers perhaps sunflowers since they have all those colors above: yellow, orange and brown.
Reply:I think the best choice would be to stay toward darker tones with white or ivory and maybe a bronze or gold color. Dark blue, deep red, plum, gunmetal gray. I would do something like ivory, deep red and gold. Or maybe espresso, bronze and ivory. Just a couple of suggestions. Good luck!
Reply:I would probably go with an espresso (brown) color with burnt orange sashes. I would then do the burnt orange calla lilies with some ivory or white roses and some other flowers mixed in with that.
It would be very pretty. I would've done those colors but my wedding is in July!
Reply:I wouldn't go with pastels, since that is more spring time. I think a iridescent orange or rust color would look nice, but you can do a royal blue, or a purple (just not pastel) or red, or a neutral such as silver.
Reply:Brown, pink and ivory would be nice or you could go a autumn gold. Flowers could be anything you want your florists will give you some great ideas.
As for dresses, you will want them to be similar to yours.
Reply:I'm getting married in October as well. The majority of everything will be a chocolate brown, and we are having very deep dark reds and purples as our accents. Think winery in Italy!
Reply:Coral and chocolate
Ivory and chocolate
burnt orange and goldenrod
Deep red and ivory
or any combination of the above
Good luck!
Reply:My choice would be to have the women in burnt orange or coral - ultimately, a print -
