Zero. Because the roses were from backyard.
How much did you spend on flowers for the wedding? did you use silk or real flowers?
Real flowers - just under $800. Had mixed colors and flowers - my bouquet was a European hand-tied, with lilies, alstromeria, carns, some roses, mums, assorted others; the four attendants were smaller versions. Boutonnieres were mini carns, and we also had two large floral arrangements we used at the church, then moved to the reception site. Also included a few other corsages and boutonnieres other than the bridal party.
Reply:We are using silk flowers, they cost $100 total (gotta love those 50% and 60% off deals at Michael's lol). That includes my bouquet and three bridesmaids bouquets, 7 bouts and 5 corsages, and three floral centerpieces for the head table, and an arrangement for the guest book table.
My mother used to own a silk flower business, so she helped me arrange the flowers nicely to show lots of texture and make them more believable looking. I'm really happy with how everything turned out :)
Reply:Zero, its a gift from mom and dad, they will pay for it.
Reply:not a dime - i got married in a hot air balloon
Reply:AUD$620.00
This was for the following;
1 x Bride Bouquet
2 x Bridesmaid Bouquets
5 x Buttonholes
2 x Corsages
12 x Table Centrepeices
Oh, the flowers used were real - roses and singapore orchids... though the centrepieces (to keep costs down) were different flowers (still real but I can't remember their name!) and a lot of greenery.
Reply:We did our own flowers. I have some arranging experience. We spent $500 on roses, orchids and calla lilies.
Reply:www.bridalbouquet.com or add an 's' after 'bridal'. Don't really remember. I bought all my wedding flowers from that site. I have a small wedding party so I spent about $200 on flowers. That's it. They look great too!
Reply:I'm spending about $270. This includes enough roses (already dethorned) to make 2 bouquets, 2 bouts, and 4 centerpieces, plus already-made archpiece and centerpiece for the head table, plus a bag of rose petals to decorate tables for the cocktail hour, etc., plus some ivy for centerpieces. My mom and I will be putting together the bouquets and bouts.
Reply:We are not going overboard on flowers. Being our wedding is beach/tropical we decided to order fresh leis for our wedding party, and 400 loose orchids for the tables, cake, and the girls hair. We paid $250.00 with shipping.
Reply:$1200. We didn't get anything too fancy. We weren't going to have floral centerpieces, but we ended up getting them at the last minute. The will be real. We'll have 2 altar arrangements that will double at the reception on the cake table and the head table.
Reply:I'm doing silk and the current cost is at around $77. But we still need to get the stuff for the bouttonieres and corsages. But my future niece works at Michaels and she gave me her employee discount. She totally rocks! : ) And I have another friend who is doing the arrangement for me.
Reply:I am spending $1100 and am having fresh (real) white oriental lilies. That includes:
my bouquet and two bridesmaids bouquets
Buttonholes for groom, 2 groomsmen, father of the bride, father of the groom and step father of the bride
Corsages for mother of the bride and mother of the groom
A table arrangement (vase full) of lilies on each of the guest table and 2 vases of lilies for the bridal table.
Reply:$1652.22 total. This is for charlotte red roses, white roses and stephanotis.
This includes, bridal and toss bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, petals for flowergirl, corsages/nosegays for the mother of bride, mother of groom, grandmother of bride, and 4 ceremony/reception helpers, boutonnieres for groom, 4 groomsmen, 2 ushers, 2 fathers, and 1 grandfather. And more, altar arrangements in a huge candelabra X2 and around unity candle, 20 centerpieces and flowers for the cake. I think that is it. I am using real flowers.
