Flowers that bloom in north carolina for june outdoor wedding?

The wedding will be in the piedmont region and will be the first week in June. Interested in planting annuals and perennials in 10 large raised beds. Some with draping and flowing effects, any colors or whites ok. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks for your help.

You are in Zone 7, I'm assuming...try these links:

I'm seeing alot of references to Peonies, Hydrangea, Butterfly Bush, Rudebeckia....

I was glad you asked this question because it spurred me to research. We are marrying in November, and I've been considering growing my own flowers for the wedding. Time to quit considering, and get those plants established, if I want to actually have flowers! lol

Enjoy! And I hope your wedding is all you dream it can be...
Reply:June is also the month of roses, and they will be out here in NC during June:) Report It
