I had a hard time with the color for my BM dress.. but many people on her helped me figure out a color scheme.. The BM's dresses are slate blue.. here is the link to it..

If anyone has any idea of what type/color of flowers to use, that advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I absolutly love the calla lily with roses.. but I am not sure what colors.. or to not even use the calla lily...

Any ideas for my wedding flowers?
Calla Lily is a great flower, and roses are a wedding classic. I think it would be cute to have your BMs carry white boquets and you carry a blue one. Hydrengas come in blue, along with other flowers. Or you could all cary a lily, rose, hydrenga boquet and have the white and blue mixed together.
Reply:Your dress is beautiful, and I like the simplicity of the bridesmaid dresses - and the colour.

What I would do myself, is have mixed bouquets of a variety of colours and flowers - I think that would be just lovely. For example, for your bouquet, some roses, some carns, maybe a stargazer lily, some alstromeria, etc. With colors of pink/rose, yellow, peachy/coral, something blue, and maybe blue ribbon to match the BM's dresses. Then the bridesmaids could have smaller versions of your bouquet.

These colors might be too strong for you, but just wanted to give you an idea.
Reply:You could mix white calla lilies and white roses together in a bouquet. It looks pretty (i had pink roses, white calla lillies). The bridesmaids could carry a couple long stemmed calla lilies with ribbon tied (carry them like holding a newborn). It would be very simple and elegant. Good luck!

Buttoneires could have single calla lillies with a small ribbon tied.
Reply:The slate blue would look lovely with a mixed bouquet of srping colors - pinks, yellows, peaches, ivories or in any combination.

White callas with Peach, pink or lavendar roses

Orange, yellow or pink mini callas with white roses

Also you could have strictly roses in a mixed color bouquet. Adding tulips is always nice for March too. Freesia is a nice flower that adds a clean scent to the air, for 'filler'.

Personally, I would make your bouquets 'bright and spring-ish'.

Good Luck!
Reply:Try this, bachelor buttons, sweetheart roses (white) and baby's breathe. It is pretty and a cute joke.
Reply:As far as floral bouquets, I would go with soft peach, ivory and a dyed navy flower which the florist can do. Also do a navy wrapped ribbon. Your bouquet should be all white or ivory with a touch of small ivy leaves intertwined.
Reply:easter lily and lilaces could be carried down the aisle by your entire party bm and ushers and the parents of both sides while you carry a decorative basket and at the end of the ceremony the each put the flower in the basket to kiind of symbolize their blessings the you have a beautiful arrange ment to walk back down the aisle as husband and wife,
Reply:i would shop around some florists in the area and see samples of their work.

you can also ask them to come up with some mock ups. they can suggest colors too.

with that dark blue i would suggest dark reds and creams

you can have some splashs of dark blue flowers too

maybe even silver ribbon to tie the bouquets with to punch up the color and wow factor
Reply:the slate blue is a pretty bold color so I would stay away from any other bold colors like yellow. I also don't like when flowers are too matchy, like red flowers with red dresses, it's too much. You can soften up the color with cream and pink maybe. Maybe do pink and cream roses with cymbidium orchids. Here's a pic, but I would take out all the green and add more cream and pink roses...
