Roses and Orchids. Those are my favorite flowers for anything! They're dramatic and beautiful and come in so many different colors.
What are your favourite flowers for a wedding?
It all depends upon your personal preferences and time of year for your wedding.
I am hoping to go with affordable carnations for my wedding bouquets and am considering mixing in roses in order to have boutenierres be roses.
I think tulips are beautiful, but not in season at the time of my wedding, so they're out.
Reply:I used Stargazer Lilies, Yellow roses, and some long blue flowers (I can't remember the name) but the spray turned out beautifully! My girls wore light blue, and we were married in April, so we had the best of the spring all wrapped up in a little bouquet! Pic below...
Reply:I really love dahlias. They are so unique are gorgeous and even one single dahlia makes a statement.

Reply:I used fall colored roses. Roses are my absolute favorite flower so I knew I wanted them as part of my wedding. We had dark reds, oranges, yellow and ivory roses.
Reply:Roses because they are ALWAYS in season and sometimes the cheaper option. You have to make sure the flower you want is in season- that will jack the price up if they arent.
Reply:I'm having Cimbidium orchids in beige/white for my wedding. They are beutiful and can hold the temperature really well.
Reply:I love lilies. I particularly love stargazer lilies, which are pink and white, but I also like plain white lilies (not calla lillies).
Reply:I like lilies, but not calla lilies. I am using Gerberas and roses though, because they go best with my theme/colours and season.
Reply:I am using Gerber Daises because they don't really have a strong scent (i have allergies) to them they are available all year round and they come in many different colors
Reply:Gerbers daisy and hydrandas and roses.
Reply:I love calla lilies.
Reply:lilies!
