I'm working with a budget and I am considering this option. But I don't know anyone who did it before. I just want to have some opinions.
I am using only hot pink and ivory roses so I think it would be easy.
Please give advice!!!!
Does anybody bought the flowers for the wedding by Internet?
After looking into getting fresh flowers and having to deal with all the drama to go with it, I finally decided to go with silk. I happened to stumble across this site while I was just looking for pictures to show the next florist of what i wanted. So here check this site out
http://www.wedideas.com/
They can custom make it to whatever you want, and they will take a picture of the bouquets that they have made JUST FOR YOU and e-mail you the pictures before they ship it AND before you pay for it. If you need anymore help e-mail me, my addy is in my profile. GOOD LUCK!!!
Reply:DO NOT ORDER OVER THE INTERNET!!! For several reasons, #1 you want the flowers fresh - same day cut and delivery #2 - you want no mistakes on this day - #3 - if there are mistakes you want to take them up with the florist immediately to correct them.
Reply:YES YES YES!!
I'm the girl who used www.freshroses.com. I had a wonderful experience with them and highly recommend them. They overnight ship, and frankly, you get the flowers fresher than you would if you bought them at a local florist. Their customer service is excellent, and I got 500 of the most beautiful Black Magic roses I have ever seen for a fraction of the cost. All I used was the roses, so arranging them was a breeze. They sell a test bunch of roses if you are unsure of color. What I did (because I was skeptical of ordering online) was order two bunches (25 each) of two different roses (Black Magic and Red France) to see if they were ok. We used them to decorate for my bridal shower. Obviously, they were fantastic and I was comfortable in ordering the flowers for the wedding. Please check them out, I can't recommend them enough!
Jule- so glad you went with freshroses.com- you won't be disappointed; and thanks for passing on the word!!
Reply:I have received rave reviews of www.freshroses.com. I have placed an order for my October wedding. After being quoted $4,500 for the reception florals, I can do the same thing myself with an order of $350 from freshroses. They ship overnight from the grower direct and arrive to you at the same time that they would typically arrive to your florist so you are at no disadvantage.
I was reccommended this site by someone on Yahoo Answers and I also found great articles about this company on MSN Money and the Wall Street Journal. They seem very reputable and the girl on Yahoo Answers who had used them for her wedding had wonderful things to say.
Check out the site...I hope this helps. Congrats and good luck:)

Reply:I didn't but a co-worker used Proflowers. They were so beautiful and looked like something from a high end florist. They were much more affordable than what I paid for mine from a local florist.
Reply:I've ordered flowers from the internet and you have to assemble them yourself. Also, they're not always fresh.
The good thing about florist is that if they do not do a good job, you can make them redo it or get a refund. Over the internet, you probably will not have any recourse.
Another option is to use silk flowers. They look real, they're cheap, they will always look good and you can arrange them yourself before hand.
Reply:I haven't, but out of all the flowers I bought on the internet, ProFlowers is the best. If you want to go this route, look into the company before making a final choice.
