Should i get a 2nd bouquet to throw? pic inc of wedding flowers?
Wow I wanna see pictures from your wedding because everything looks GORGEOUS!!! I love your bouquet and think that you really should get a smaller one to toss because I think the bouquet/garter toss is fun and haven't ever attended a wedding without them. If you throw this one you don't get to keep it so if it isn't that expensive I'd pick up another one. Where did you get that anyway?
Reply:Yes, if you want to keep your flowers but still throw flowers, then you need to get a second one to toss. It's actually called a toss boquet. This is something that is very common in the midwest. I would recomend getting a smaller or less expensive version. Wal-Mart actually sells toss boquets in their craft aisle for under 20 bucks. You should look into that or something similiar if you don't like Wal-Mart because if you are just going to be tossing flowers, why pay a lot for them? The guests won't really notice or care either way.
Reply:I did a throwing bouquet because I wanted to keep mine too (mine were real though) not to mention how heavy it was! If you don't want to pay so much for it just have your florist do about 5 flowers or so (or do it yourself, whichever). It doesn't have to be elaborate, your mainly doing that part for the symbolism so don't splurge on it.
Reply:Depends on whether or not you definitely want to do the toss. Some people choose not to! Your toss bouquet doesn't have to look just like yours either... you could go to a craft store and make your own bouquet, or places like Michael's and AC Moore have people there that will put together an arrangement if you buy the flowers.

Something like this above (in your colors) would be all you'd need, and not very expensive to have made!
Congratulations!
Reply:Love your bouquet and I understand why you want to keep it. My bouquet isn't real either, what I did was got to Michael's and bought a bouquet of flowers that matched up with the colors of my bridal bouquet. I added embellishments like feathers and ribbons. So my toss bouquet is a smaller version of the bridal bouquet. It cost me about $7, I used a 50% off coupon from the Sunday paper.
Reply:My florist actually gave me a small "toss bouquet" free with my order - It was just a small hand-tied bunch of the same flowers that were in my bride's bouquet. See if your florist can do the same thing - using the same roses and colors and maybe a few feathers.
Reply:I threw my actual bouquet at my wedding...and I've always kind of regretted it. Granted, mine was real flowers...but I think I would have enjoyed having it a lot more than the girl who got it did. Definitely get a 2nd bouquet.
Reply:Yeah, you should get SOMETHING if you are wanting to keep yours. It's a little bit of tradition that everyone enjoys. It doesn't need to be near as big or expensive as yours is.
Reply:If you want to keep your wedding bouquet then you need a second one to throw. Who ever catches the one you throw gets to keep it.
Reply:The hotel I got married at actually provided me with a small simly one to throw later on because mine was very large and intricate, so yeah get a small simple one to toss at the reception!
Reply:Yes, just throw a little posy. Doesn't have to be as elaborate as your bouquet, maybe just in the same colors.
Reply:You can get a completely different one, style, so on to buy and throw. It can be much cheaper, etc.
Reply:Yes. That's what I had. Never regretted it.
Reply:If I had that beautiful bouqet I would want to keep it too! Just do a smaller, toned down version to throw...
Reply:Oh very pretty.
Do get a second one to throw away.
Reply:YES I WOULD GET A DIFFERENT ONE IF THE ONE YOU ARE USING IS SO IMPORTANT TO YOU.
