Fall wedding flowers?

My wedding is November of next year and it is a Fall wedding. Just curious what you think would be good wedding flower combinations for my bouquet and the bridemaids and decorations? Thank you for your help!

For decorations, mums are great for the round packed centerpieces. So are sunflowers if you are doing tall centerpieces. Gerbera daisies are great b/c they come in every color. For contrast, I think cream, ecru, instead of white.

I like fall colors too but IMHO the standout colors are olive green and metallics like gold or bronze. I'm shocked no one else said that. I think of the apple harvest so crimson comes up. And I do think of deep purples like eggplant.

I also think of rusty colors like sienna. But a classic brown suits too. Chocolates, lattes, champagnes. It depends on if you are going more elegant or more rustic. The chocolate and latte is definitely more traditional elegance, though not very uniquely you.

I'm not a big fan of mustard yellow and burnt orange. Plus they look really bad on most bridesmaids. But fall makes my husband think of football so I always imagine a football groom's cake. What are his team's colors?
Reply:Depending on your color choices there are many kinds/colors to choose from.

There is the fall Astor, with a pretty blue/lavender color. It sorta looks like a daisy. Or peach/orange hued calla lilies. A mix of dark red, peach, and off white roses, with maybe some dwarf sunflowers thrown in, or some fall hued Gerbera Daisies.

There are lots of combinations. Basically pick your color scheme, and decide what kind of flowers you really like, and see if your florist can incorporate those ideas into something beautiful for your day.

Sometimes the more simple it is, the more beautiful.
Reply:Congrats on your upcoming wedding! I'm getting married November 8th of this year. Ive noticed that a lot of people do the whole burnt orange %26amp; or burgandy for their fall weddings which is gorgeaous but I wanted to do something a little different.

Im wearing an ivory gown and the bridesmaids are wearing wine dresses (they each got to pick their own style of dress). MOH is wearing this dress http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridesmaids_...

Their bouquets have deep red roses, purple limolium, purple to burgandy alstro and mini wine calla lillies. My bouquet is the same but with a single yellow rose and and small yellow orchids in rememberance of my grandmother. The groomsman will wear wine cala lillies boutineers.

As for centerpieces we choose huricane vases with a ivory candle %26amp; colored stones (same as bouquet). The vase will go on a mirror to reflect the light of the candle throughout the evening.

One fun thing were doing is instead of a guest book we are having everyone sign a White Sox Jersey with our last name and "08" as the number (for the year). Then we can have it framed and hang after the wedding.

Good luck! Congrats again!!!
Reply:I've thought about having a fall wedding as well. I would pick flowers that have fall colors. Maybe some orange roses. They're beautiful. You might also think of picking flowers that have long stems on them.
Reply:you can mix yellow orange, peach, dark purple, and browns. I had these colors in my end of September wedding and they were beautiful mixed together.
Reply:i'm having a fall wedding too and i'm having dahlilas and gerbera daisies in fall colors like red and orange
Reply:I would definetely fo with fall flowers, like orange roses and red and yellow daisies, with baby's breath accents.

Best of luck to you!
Reply:I think tiger lilies mixed with colored fall leaves and some ivy would be beautiful.
