My wedding changed from October to July this year, help with type of flowers?

I have no clue what type of flowers, or colors to use for a July wedding!! Besides roses. We already have all the dresses. Mine is ivory and gold and the bridesmaids are burgundy. I had flowers picked out for fall but I don't know if I should stick with those or go with the season. Any help will be great! I have already looked on line for pics of bouquets, but I didn't see anything great besides roses. If you have links, that would be great too! Thanks!

Roses are beautiful and classic...they can also get a little pricey and I am not sure what your budget is.

For the bridesmaids you could add a nice rich yellow to the bouquets to give it some color. Maybe something like this:

Or, you could go with some simple calla lilies. They are gorgeous...

Or maybe some burgundy calla lilies...

Reply:If you are in love with the flowers you picked for your October wedding, don't change them. Be aware that flowers go in and out of season though, so the cost you were quoted for arrangements could change. The sites below will tell you what's in season during the summer vs. fall.

When I think of summer weddings, I think of bright, cheerful flowers. Gerber daisies and lilies in bold colors. I think a mix of cream and pink flowers would look great with burgundy dresses.
Reply:How about peonies? Or go to the florists and see what they say about in season flowers

Calla lillies are also good and they come in just about every color, including green. Bridesmaids could carry a mix of colors, like ivory, burgundy or pink, and green.

Orchids would also be very pretty but could be expensive
Reply:Go with wildflower arrangements, they don't cost alot and the colors are BEAUTIFUL!!!
Reply:cala lillies and tulips would be fine for most any season, in addition to roses, which you already mentioned.
Reply:you can try tiger lillys!
Reply:If you like the colors of the flowers that you already picked out I would stick with those
Reply:Bright and Warm colors is the way to go!

Colors:

Red

White

Yellow

Pink
Reply:--I would keep the flowers in the color(s) that goes with your wedding colors, instead of trying to get seasonal colors. I think that would make your wedding pictures/video look better, instead of possibly clashing.

--If you want more seasonal flower, go for it. Just keep the colors in the theme of your wedding. Besides roses, look at lilies, gerbera daisies, and orchids.

--Sorry, I don't know any links that would show great pics for bouquets using other flowers. Maybe you could look at arrangements of other flowers (mixed with nothing else) on websites such as www.1800flowers.com or www.proflowers.com and imagine them in a bouquet.
