I need wedding flowers!!?
costco has pretty flowers
Reply:Costo is great but if your not dead set on real flowers they have some great deals on silk flowers on eBay way cheaper then Costco and you can make sure you love them in advance
Reply:I've heard from several people that Costco is good for flowers. If you're by any chance in Orange County, CA, here's the florist I'm using:

www.gdflowers.com

They have really good prices, plus I'm buying most of my flowers (roses) in bulk - 25 roses for $19, and that includes them dethorning them. Total for everything I'm getting from them is around $270.
Reply:I am an event coordinator and have used Costco for many of my events. They are a very dependable source. You can go in and order a sample of the flowers that you want. Go to your local Costco and ask for someone in the flower department to help you out.
Reply:when my girls got married..we used good quality silks
Reply:Yes, Costco or Sam's club (we are going with Sams)
Reply:I wouldn't have thought of Costco. Where do you live? It's a little hard to help without knowing that. If you're anywhere near Los Angeles, they have a huge wholesale flower district downtown. If you're not in a large city, you can still check out downtown areas of major cities nearby and see if they have this. Also, do you have farmer's markets around you? Really fresh %26amp; inexpensive.
Reply:If you have until August, might I suggest visiting a nursery (there are lots online that will ship to your home if you don't have one locally). You can buy the bulbs/seeds rather inexpensively and actually grow your own wedding flowers. I know this will be a little bit of work, but the cost is only a fraction of what you would pay a florist, and it's kind of cool to carry a bouquet that you grew yourself.
Reply:i can recommend a flower person,

i got twelve table decorations, four boquets, 6 button holes, 3 corsages for under three hundred pounds. and they are roses and gerbers!!

i got mine from a independant flower person who works from home and they were at a wedding fayre!
Reply:Costco is a great choice, they will even put together your bouquets and centerpieces for you. Another good flower wholesaler is http://www.fiftyflowers.com
Reply:I got mine at Costco, but arranged them myself (just bought loose roses and hydrangeas in bulk). However, you can also buy the arranged centerpieces and bouquets pre-made from there. The flowers I bought (off white roses, blue hydrangeas and delphinium) came to about $800 for just those. My bro bought vases from Goodwill at about a buck apiece for 15 centerpieces. I got ribbon, wire and other decorative bits and accessories from Michael's and eBay. I think total I spent about $900 for 15 centerpieces, two buffet vases, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, my bouquet, 4 corsages and 5 boutonnieres. And I had extra flowers left over.

My flowers were gorgeous. You can see them here: http://web.mac.com/kokorophotography/Kok...

If you scroll through the album you can see the others sort of. I thought this was the best picture of how the bouquets I made came out.
Reply:Walmart, some grocery stores,,
Reply:First where ever you go dont tell them its for a wedding! Try looking at some small home town nurserys. They usually are the cheapest. Buy them in bulk and you might even get a good deal.
Reply:What is your budget? usually the people who doesn't have their own stand and do it from home charges really cheap. I was lucky enough to find one who did a wonderful job and I only paid $1300 for a big wedding with 15 tables to decorate and a big bridal entourage. check out bridal faires.
Reply:Flowers are expensive. You can save money if you buy flowers that are in season. Can you grow your own?
