How much is the average cost of wedding flowers?

It depends on if you have a florist do it, or if you have silk instead of real... etc.

I ordered mine through a wholesaler (beautiful mini-calla lillies and many of them)

Then my bridesmaids and I took a class on how to do flowers about 3 months before the wedding. It cost us a total of $300.

If you go with a florist I had quotes from $1000 to $2500. I know silk is also a cheaper way to go if you like those kind of flowers. Good luck, and happy planning.

How much is the average cost of wedding flowers?
We spent just over 700 for a big assorted arm bouquet for me, the bride, four smaller handheld bouquets for MOH and bridesmaids, about 5 corsages and 7 boutonnieres, and three floral arrangements (used at the church, then went on the head table at reception).
Reply:We searched forever for wedding flowers. Both girls were married within 11 weeks of each other. We ended up in our hometown instead of where they live now. The flowers were LOTS cheaper. We got what we wanted and saved half of what the others bid. Also ordered some of the flowers in bulk and used what we needed for bouquets and other flowers went in centerpieces etc. We did two weddings for under $2,000.00. We also took flowers from church to reception site and used them as centerpieces etc. Shop around. You will find what you want for the right price.
Reply:It depends on the florist, what kind of flowers you want and how many. Some florists may give you a discount depending on how much you purchased. I did 3 corsages and my bridal bouquet, all Roses and it cost me around $150. I received a discount on the roses.
Reply:Depends what you are going for really, some people decorate everything with flowers including the ends of the rows of pews at the church, which can be costly. I've kept mine pretty minimal and it's still costing me nearly £400. It's one of the most expensive parts of the wedding, but as we have budgeted elsewhere we felt it was worth it as the flowers really are beautiful
Reply:It depends on what season you get married in (availability of fresh flowers) and how many you want. A bride's bouquet is at least $100, and you can assume you will be paying at least $20 per corsage and boutteniere, not to mention the cost of arrangements for the altar. I had a June wedding, and did my silk flowers myself several months ahead of time. All of the stuff for all the flowers for my wedding cost less than $80, and I had the peace of mind knowing my flowers were done and knowing that I loved them. All my friends that ordered real flowers from a florist ended up seriously disliking them.
Reply:depends....I did only personal flowers (for wedding party) and they are mainly hydrangeas and roses.....most places quotes me at $700....they place I went with did it for $575. It would be more if you need ceneterpeices and ceremony flowers.
